Ingredients

  • olive oil
    30 g olive oil
  • orange blossom water
    15 g orange blossom water
  • 100 g semi-salted butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 2 orange zest
  • 130 g T45 flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Thermomix Instructions

Place 100 grams of semi-salted butter cut into pieces into a container and melt in the microwave. into the Thermomix bowl.

Add the whisk attachment.

Add to the bowl3–4

  • 3 Oeufs
  • 100 grammes Cassonade

Add the lid with the measuring cup.

Mix for 3 minutes 30 seconds at speed 3.

Add to the bowl7–9

  • 2 Zestes d'orange
  • 30 grammes Huile d'olive
  • 15 grammes Eau de fleur d'oranger

Add the cooled melted butter into the Thermomix bowl.

Add the lid with the measuring cup.

Mix for 3 minutes at speed 3.

  • 130 grammes Farine T45
  • 1 cuillère à café Levure chimique

Add the lid with the measuring cup.

Mix for 30 seconds at speed 3.

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Grease and flour a 20 cm diameter mold, then pour the batter into it.

Bake in the oven for 35 minutes at 180°C.

Adjust baking time by a few minutes depending on your oven's performance. Check doneness by inserting a knife, which should come out clean.

Let rest for 15 minutes in the mold before removing the cake.

Allow the cake to cool on a wire rack.
