Ingredients

  • puff pastry
    1 rolls puff pastry
  • Parmesan
    30 g Parmesan
  • basil
    basil
  • pepper
    pepper
  • salt
    salt
  • Gruyère cheese
    50 g Gruyère cheese
  • 200 g frozen chopped spinach
  • 200 g fresh or frozen salmon
  • 25 cl fresh liquid cream
  • 3 eggs
  • chopped dill (fresh or frozen)

Instructions

Defrost the spinach in the microwave or in a pan.

Cook the salmon steamed or in unsalted water.

Crack the eggs into a salad bowl, add the cream, Parmesan, salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg.

Place the pastry in a baking dish.

Spread the spinach then the cooked chopped salmon, sprinkle with herbs.

Pour the mixture over the salmon, sprinkle with grated Gruyère (optional).

Bake in a preheated oven (Gas Mark 9) for 25 to 30 minutes until the quiche is golden brown.
