Ingredients

  • 1000 g Semi-skimmed milk
  • 160 g Round white rice
  • 1 pinch Ground cinnamon
  • 20 g Vanilla sugar
  • 80 g Powdered sugar

Thermomix Instructions

Place 1000 grams of semi-skimmed milk into the Thermomix bowl.

Add the lid without the measuring cup.

Cook 6 min / 90°C / speed 1.

Check that the milk is at 90°C, otherwise extend the cooking time.

Add 160 grams of round white rice into the Thermomix bowl.

Add 1 pinch of ground cinnamon (adjust to taste) and (optional) into the Thermomix bowl.

Place the cooking basket on top of the lid instead of the measuring cup to prevent splatters.

Cook 38 min / 90°C / speed 2.

Add 20 grams of vanilla sugar into the Thermomix bowl.

Add 80 grams of powdered sugar into the Thermomix bowl.

Add the lid with the measuring cup.

Cook 2 min / 90°C / speed 2.

Transfer into ramekins.

The rice pudding will thicken as it cools.
