Ingredients

    100 g butter
  • 8 golden apples, very yellow
  • 1 pastry puff pastry
  • 2 bags vanilla sugar
  • 100 g powdered sugar

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C (thermostat 6). In a round non-stick tart pan, melt the butter directly on the stove.

Add the fine sugar

Lower the heat to make caramel.

Peel the golden apples, cut them in half, and remove the core. Arrange the apples in a crown in the dish.

Flatten the apples with a spatula, they should poach in the caramel, which should be golden.

Sprinkle the apples with vanilla sugar and cinnamon.

Remove from heat and cover with puff pastry, pressing down firmly on the edges.

Bake in the oven at medium heat for 35 to 40 minutes.

Serve warm.
