    4 slice ham
  • Gruyère
    100 g Gruyère
  • milk
    4 tbsp milk
  • nutmeg
    1 pinch nutmeg
  • pepper
    pepper
  • salt
    salt
  • 8 sliced bread
  • 50 g soft butter
  • 8 slice toast cheese

Instructions

Butter one side of the slices of sliced bread. Place a slice of cheese on each slice of bread, add a slice of ham on four slices, then cover with the other slices.

In a bowl, mix the grated cheese with the milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.

Distribute the mixture over the croque-monsieur sandwiches.

Place on a baking sheet under the grill for 10 minutes.
