Instructions

Beat the eggs with the sugar and milk.

Dip the slices of bread into the mixture.

Two cooking options: fry them in butter in a skillet until golden on each side, or bake in the oven: lightly butter a gratin dish, arrange the slices, pour the remaining mixture (add sugar if desired), and bake at 180°C (thermostat 6) until the slices are golden.
