Ingredients

  • sugar
    150 g sugar
  • flour
    200 g flour
  • orange blossom water
    2 tbsp orange blossom water
  • butter
    100 g butter
  • milk
    50 g milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 8 g baking powder

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 240°C (thermostat 8). Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat, set aside.

Mix the eggs with the sugar until the mixture turns white.

Then add the orange blossom water and 40 g of milk.

Add the flour and baking powder.

Next, add the melted butter and the remaining milk; let rest for 15 minutes.

Grease the madeleine molds and pour the batter into them.

Bake at 240°C (thermostat 8), then reduce to 200°C (thermostat 6-7) after 5 minutes; bake for another 10 minutes. Keep an eye on the baking!

Unmold as soon as they come out of the oven.
