Ingredients

  • salt
    tsp salt
  • olive oil
    30 g olive oil
  • lemon juice
    50 g lemon juice
  • water
    20 g water
  • pepper
    2 pinch pepper
  • paprika
    1 pinch paprika
  • 30 g white sesame seeds
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 500 g canned chickpeas

Thermomix Instructions

Place 30 grams of white sesame seeds into the Thermomix bowl.

Add ½ teaspoon of salt into the Thermomix bowl.

Add the lid with the measuring cup.

Pulse 30 seconds/speed 10.

Scrape down the sides of the bowl with the spatula.

Add the lid with the measuring cup.

Pulse 30 seconds/speed 10.

Scrape down the sides of the bowl with the spatula.

Add 5 grams of olive oil into the Thermomix bowl.

Add the lid with the measuring cup.

Mix 30 seconds/speed 8.

Scrape down the sides of the bowl with the spatula.

Add another 5 grams of olive oil into the Thermomix bowl.

Add the lid with the measuring cup.

Mix 15 seconds/speed 8.

Scrape down the sides of the bowl with the spatula.

Add 2 garlic cloves (adjust to taste) into the Thermomix bowl.

Add the lid with the measuring cup.

Mix 5 seconds/speed 7.

Add 500 grams of canned chickpeas into the Thermomix bowl.

Add 20 grams of olive oil into the Thermomix bowl.

Add 50 grams of lemon juice into the Thermomix bowl.

Add 20 grams of water (or the chickpea canning liquid) into the Thermomix bowl.

Add 2 pinches of pepper into the Thermomix bowl.

Add 1 teaspoon of salt into the Thermomix bowl.

Add the lid with the measuring cup.

Mix 1 minute/speed 7.

Transfer into ramekins.

Sprinkle with 1 pinch of paprika (adjust to taste) over the hummus in the Thermomix bowl.
